Chapter 7 Day 1

Naming Groups of Data

One way to name a group of cells is to first, select the cells that you want. Then, you would want to name the group of cells using the name box. After that, on your Formulas tab, in the Defined Names group,go to your Name Manager. A dialog box will pop up showing all the cell groups that you named. Next, click on the group that you want to change the reference. Once you have done that, the values will change, meaning that you either added or toke away a cell reference.

Creating Formulas to Calculate Values

After you write data you can create a formula for the previous data you just wrote. And you can say where do you want your answer. You can do sums averages counts and many more just go to the formula dialog box.
