Entering and Revising Data

The simplest way to enter data is to just click on the cell and typing it. But if you want to make life a little easier, just used the auto fill or fill series. Auto fill is when you want to repeat the same word and fill as many cells as you want. Fill series is when you type let's say for example 2, fill series will automatically continue the pattern and place a 4 in the next cell. In Excel, you have complete control over how you want fill series or auto fill.

Moving Data Within a Workbook

The easiest way you can move a cell is to just click on the activated cell and move it. You can also move multiple cell at once to. An Active Cell, a bold border will appear over the cell meaning that you can modify it and do what ever you want with it. You can also move cells, columns, and rows, by simply clicking on the row, cell or columns header.
