Word Excel

Now I don't really know a lot about Excel but I'm not worried because I know that I'm gonna have good resorces and a great Teacher to teach me how to get my certification

Reflection on the steps to getting certified for Word 2007

In the beginning of the year Mrs.Goeldner told us that she was gonna try to get us certified for Word 2007. She told the her stories on how she didn't pass her test on the first try and on how the test is hard if you don't know where the applications are. We got started as soon as possible on a quick review on word to see where we stand. At first it was kind easy, but when in to solo work that's when it got tough for me. The environment that I was just didn't work for me. I work best when the class is doing the work together as a team.

We did eventually did start working as a team. The next thing that i remember was when we had to do Sam 2007. Sam 2007 is online working test where the test imitates the actual test for certification. If it wasn't for Sam I don't kind that I would have gotten close to pass the actual test. Another thing that help whether I like or not was the blog questions.

Now to talk about the test. Mrs.Goeldner was right if don't know how do what the question is asking you then you really don't have a chance to pass it. You need a 660 to pass the test. The first time I took was kind of nervous but that didn't bother me as much. I got a 533 the first time. I got a little bummed about but I knew that I was gonna pass it the second time. I didn't, I got a 600. Now that did get me mad, and it wasn't for Mrs. Goeldner asking the school for money I won't have a chance to take it again . The third time I did it and pass it, got a 800. Thank you Mrs, if it wasn't for you I won't have my certification, Thanks

Working as a Team

Yes making a tutorial was a new experience for me, I've never used Jing before so thats was pretty cool. The problems that we faced worn't so big, probably the only prbleblem was that we had to record our voices , and my partner and I didn't like our voices. I got a new experience, in working together as a team, and as a individual, so thanks Mrs.Goeldner for letting usdo that, I now a got something out of it.

Project 10 Q's

My document was really good. The ten questions are where easy to understand and to comprehend, nothing less of what excpect from two very smart girls. It was simple and yet, effective, keep it up.

New on Word 2007

The new editing on word is that except everything being on one single thing file, everything is open and its easy to see. You can edit pictures more effectively and post them too. In my opinion its better because everything isn't in one place. Its on the open, its less confusion and you use less time in searching for all the things that you have to use to edit

Word 2007 Environment

The Microsoft Button is the new, I guess you can say, the old "file menu" button.
In this button you can find almost everything that the file menu had. Like save, and save as, also print, and print preview, and open, open recent. The names of the tabs which in old Microsoft Edit Button were are home, page layout, insert, references. In the page layout tab there's landscape and the portrait buttons.

Pro and Cons in being Certified

On if the benefits in being certified in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. is being able to manage projects and obviously getting paid more. Your boss can see that you are ahead of the game, and even get a promotion, whether it be in yearly bonuses or in rank. One of the cons, I guess, is that you are gonna get more work than the other workers, but that just adds to the challenge that you can shine your skills. More work, more money!!
